Additionally, the position will plan, coordinate, direct and supervise subcontractors and vendors engaged on project ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget and to the quality specified.
This person will work directly with the Garland Sales Representative, client, subcontractors and vendors to facilitate the completion of project. CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist in backssing new projects and leak solutions via inspection reports, photographs and working with subcontractors. Assist in development of asset management plans, project specific plans,
details and specifications. Controls the flow of information on project site. Manages sub-contractors by evaluating, monitoring and controlling performance. Track jobsite progress via daily reports and photographs.
Monitors the work and compares work in place to the schedule and specification requirements. Enforce quality assurance and control for compliance with the specification. Engage in business development activities (as needed). Develop/market insulation plans/packages. Develop custom roof drawing/detail packages. Assist contractors with core samples (roofing/abatement/CLEAR testing). Provide daily updates to the Garland Representative. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possession at least a high school diploma and a post-secondary degree is preferred.
A background in construction, construction design, estimating, engineering or architecture is preferred. Must possess excellent skills in math, writing, public relations and communication, both written and oral. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, ). Ability to learn Visio or Lucid Chart and Microsoft Project. Ability to multi-task in a detailed oriented team environment. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management with emphasis on the sales force and end user. PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: The Technical Assistant must be able to carry, push, pull, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
