Job Summary: The Security System Installation Engineer to support River Tech contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U. S. The Security system Installation Engineer reports to the River Tech Program Manager and On-Site Supervisor and acts as the subject matter expert concerning electronic security systems installations for USCIS and to ensure that these installations meet the technical requirements of USCIS. Review the requirements, project design drawings, contractor proposals, and contractor submittals ensuring that the documents meet the technical, design and engineering requirements.
Good understanding in security system engineering to include cable shielding, drain wire use, and bonding/grounding issues that affect the critical operations of electronic security systems. Provide technical expertise for security systems architecture and capabilities in support of Enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (e PACS) program. Create training material associated with security system engineering and deliver training sessions to security professionals within USCIS.
Lead/attend a variety of meetings related to e PACS and ESS installations. Develop and deliver reports associated with security systems on the technical challenges and changes to USCIS leadership. Schedule and conduct site visits, surveys, inspections, and security acceptances during construction/installation identifying any discrepancies during the installation such as incorrect sizing of power, poor cabling practices, incorrect wiring, incorrect software/hardware configurations, incorrect materials, and other discrepancies outside of industry standards and USCIS technical requirements.
Know and identify the industry standards and continue to provide recommendations to USCIS on compliance and updated standards. Document changes and deficiencies to projects for approval and action by project managers assigned to the projects prior to corrections. Review and edit USCIS technical requirements as needed to ensure relevance to industry standards, evolving technologies, software and hardware products associated with security systems. Provide cost estimates to include labor and bill of material needed. Operate as the liaison between USCIS facilities and divisions when providing technical support.
Coordinate technical requirements (USCIS) with Physical Security Section (PSS) and Office of Information Technology (OIT) ensuring consistency with IT requirements and standards. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma/GED. Minimum five (5) years of work experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position. Experience working with cross-functional teams to perform and complete task. Previous experience installing cable, rack and stack switches, servers, panels and workstations. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project, as well as Share Point or other collaboration software.

Program: Pathways Vermont Rural Outreach Program Job Title: Mental Health and Outreach Specialist Supervisor: Program Manager Location: Vermont, statewide Schedule: M-F between 8-5Status: Full-time (35-40 hours/week) Compensation: $25-35/hour + $2000 Hiring Bonus Available Hiring bonus available after successful completion of 60 day introductory period Job Responsibilities: Conduct mental health and substance use backssments in-person and over the phone to determine program eligibility and appropriate service course for persons experiencing homelessness in Vermont Provide education and guidance to team members and participants regarding therapeutic treatments and options for community-based counseling services Occasionally provide short-term counseling and/or therapeutic support services to participants while assisting with connections to permanent supports, depending on final scope of role Engage in assertive outreach, service coordination, advocacy, and other supports for program participants Practice Critical Time Intervention, harm reduction, Intentional Peer Support, SOAR, active engagement and other best practices for supporting persons experiencing homelessness Participate in outreach and engagement with individuals experiencing homelessness who have serious mental health challenges or co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges Document service provision in electronic database including screening data, progress notes, incident reports, document collection, institutionalization record, etc.
Maintain written and computerized records, compile reports and complete other documentation requirements Facilitate participant driven referrals to community providers including inpatient treatment, intensive out-patient, peer respite, other therapists, etc. Participate in care coordination with institutional settings including hospitals, respite services and incarceration facilities Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Licensed in the state of Vermont as a Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, etc. Qualified to diagnose mental health and substance use disorders, SMI and COD, using the ICD-10Patience, creativity, flexibility, compassion, and sensitivity to persons with disabilities and persons experiencing extreme challenges Demonstrated knowledge of therapy and counseling supports for persons with SMI and/or CODStrong communication, writing, and computer skills, experience with electronic health record preferred Excellent interpersonal skills, sound knowledge of supportive counseling skills and the ability to form relationships with individuals who have experienced marginalization Knowledge of concurrent disorders and experience with harm reduction strategies and the continuum of addiction services Drivers License and vehicle required Flexible schedule and travel occasionally statewide may be required - can be negotiated Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Ability to ascend and descend stairs and/or hills, slopes, etc.

Occasional walking around the community to participate in activities with participants such as collecting paperwork or attending appointments Regular operation of a computer and other office machinery including frequent typing Frequent talking and listening in participation of exchanging ideas through spoken word and occasional receipt and giving of detailed information through oral communication Extensive reading responsibilities Rarely lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds (i.
