Responsibilities: This role will support design development of Mechanical systems and equipment for the GBSD program project by preparing studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements. Work with mechanical engineers and other technical disciplines in a team environment.
Development Design Drawings. Perform formal calculations. Size equipment and systems. Develop equipment and material specifications. Develop procurement documentation. Develop design configuration packages for configuration control and change management. Design Building Information Modeling and coordination with other disciplines. Review vendor submittals and integrate information into the design solution. Execute to schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product. Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
Skills and Qualifications: Basic Qualifications Level 1: BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related), from an accredited university, with at least 6 years of relevant experience. Level 2: BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related), from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience. Minimum Qualifications: Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, drawings, calculations, and specifications for Mechanical systems and equipment on nuclear or industrial process facilities, data centers, central utility plants, or complex building mechanical systems.
US citizenship is required per contract requirement. Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to utilize engineering and office automation tools effectively. Experience developing equipment configuration packages for procurement and maintenance. Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards, as well as Bechtel Corporate guides and standards. Broad knowledge of the application of Mechanical engineering design principles. Registered Professional Engineer in USA (Mechanical or related Engineering).
Preferred Qualifications: Related experience in drawing development for design of fluid systems, hydraulics, heat transfer, HVAC, and thermodynamic calculations, and equipment specification. Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000. Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense. Experience executing engineering and design with Revit. Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or Specs Intact. Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.

Position Summary As the Engineering Automation Engineering Group Supervisor (EGS), you will be responsible for supervising automation engineers and executing assignments in support of engineering. This position has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating these assignments.
This involves exploration of the subject area, definition of scope, and may involve the development of novel concepts, approaches, and solutions. Additionally, you will be interfacing and coordinating software development and integrations between engineering, procurement, construction, and the client. This role will specifically support the USAF Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase. Responsibilities The candidate will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and the client in the development of the Project Information in the shared digital engineering environment.
The position will be responsible for reviewing and approving key engineering automation documents and must have a broad knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines and functions within an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction project. Provides supervision, technical guidance, and performance feedback to team. Responsible to provide cross-functional coordination and methods of integration in alignment with Project Delivery Program, including, but not limited to: 3D Model Development, 4D Integrated Schedule, Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) alignment, 5D Integrated Cost, and support the development of an innovative culture.
Responsible for maintaining the Project Information Model within the Integrated Digital Environment including design models, drawings and other non-graphical data. Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage, Auto CAD or other 4D BIM applications.
