OF THE JOB: Proactively anticipate department needs. Perform facilities daily tasks, deep cleans facilities / equipment, assist with special projects, and assist maintenance department as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENCITIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Responsible for working with Facilities Maintenance Manager to order cleaning and restroom products for the facility.
Serve as contacts in the maintenance department for coordinating facility rentals, including attending meetings with Facility Maintenance Manager and Director of Operations to discuss upcoming rentals. Coordinate any last minute or special needs with the maintenance department.2. Responsible for keeping Iowa Speedway facility in pristine
condition. Recognize potential hazards around the facility, including all buildings, grandstands, and grounds. Report potential hazards to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.3.
Responsible for maintaining relationships and working with various suppliers as directed by the Facilities Maintenance Manager. Works directly with contracted cleaning company during national and large special events. Follows proper accounting procedures for purchasing items as needed for the facility.
