A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE As an Outside Sales Representative, you are responsible for the entire pipeline from identifying sales targets to closing deals. You love interacting with people and establish a rapport easily. With enthusiasm, you prospect for new clients by meeting new people and sharing our story.
You are willing to do whatever it takes to build your pipeline, including cold calling. As you listen to needs, you effectively explain how our services can satisfy those needs. You facilitate compelling demonstrations, skillfully overcome objections, create and present customer proposals, and close deals. Though you love interacting with people, you are also organized, goal-oriented, and analytical. You proactively forecast sales and carefully plan out your strategies in order to regularly achieve goals. To ensure long-term commitments, you advocate on behalf of your clients.
You check in with them periodically to maintain client relationships, ensure satisfaction, and sell new products and services.
