How you will make an impact: Accurate and timely clinical coding of medical policies and clinical UM guidelines developed by OMPTA for use by the enterprise and all lines of business.

Develops the quality assurance process to assure accurate code assignment on policies and translation within adjudication systems. Improvises processes, tools, and measures that standardize and improve performance related to implementation and demonstrate quantifiable value to business units. Leads the work group and facilitates identification and resolution of local implementation issues. Conceptualizes implementation approaches that consider both the large and varied business issues and objectives across
regions and the very detailed considerations of adjudication systems, benefit design, and regulatory environments that also vary by region.
Minimum requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related medical policy experience including prior experience leading large, multi-stakeholder regional or enterprise projects; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred skills, capabilities, or experiences: CPC or other coding certification designation 2-3 years experience with clinical coding of documents For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $70,900 to $102,000.
