activity in support of Canons Imaging Technologies & Communication Group (ITCG) business and products within the Cinema, Television Production, Streaming, Broadcast and adjacent markets. The person in this role will oversee marketing activities and relationships with content creators, customers, organizations and business partners to support marketing efforts toward the above markets.
They will be responsible for marketing content creation and retail channel management with key sales accounts and retailers for Canons business products within the cinema, television production, streaming, broadcast and adjacent industries. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring
you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days).

Responsibilities: Develop and oversee the execution of Canons cinema and pro video marketing engagement program and related activities, including but not limited to the fostering of valuable and meaningful relationships that deliver impactful marketing assets and opportunities to case study opportunities, speaking opportunities, equipment demo opportunities, and visual assets to be provided
for Marketing, Retail Marketing, social media and Advertising use.
Act as a marketing liaison between Canon ITCG and key content creators, media, organizations and professionals working within the cinema and television production industries, for the purpose of developing, establishing and nurturing meaningful relationships that benefit the awareness, perception and sales of Canon ITCG equipment within those markets. Work with ITCG Product Management teams, partner organizations, and outside companies (third party companies) on mutually beneficial marketing opportunities that center around specific cinema & pro video or production projects (co-marketing projects).
Support key accounts/sales channel in day-to-day retail marketing, planning and execution for Canons cinema and pro video products. Work directly with each retailer, sales rep and Account Executive to drive key products, sell out and grow business. Provide account-based marketing support to key sales channels/accounts. Responsible for the creation and management of marketing content (i. e. newsletters, banners, videos, promotional content, landing pages, etc. ). Provide day to day online and in-store sales marketing support, managing account's retail opportunities, ensuring online paid search and display ads campaign align with the core business strategy, focus on promotions and product, track marketing campaigns to evaluate results, provide recommendations for future marketing promotions and marketing/sales collateral.
Responsible for new product launches marketing contents set up, creation and distribution. Attend industry seminars, meetings, events, and tradeshows to ensure that Canons presence is being represented in the best possible way and according to the desires of the product groups. Oversee and execute all contracts and agreements including but not limited to formal contracts, written agreements, rights & permissions as well as the delivery of all assets.
Initiate regular communication between Marketing, Sales, and Product Management to ensure alignment on products, targets, applications and deliverables with sales goals & upcoming marketing needs. Assist Event Management on talent for opportunities related to events including by not limited to speaking opportunities, advertising opportunities, event graphics and dcor, as well as equipment for events. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision. Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary. Requires domestic travel to trade shows and dealer shows (up to 25%).
