PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads and coordinates the line team in daily activities. Ensures that the line is properly set-up and runs productively. Runs the various line equipment to target. quality, cost, delivery, performance, and morale. Completes appropriate paperwork including batch records, logbooks, production reports, and visual boards.
Manages the department in the absence of the supervisor. Ensures the team maintains a clean and orderly work area. Ensures all Line Runners follow SOPs, c GMPs, safety requirements and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. Some college preferred. Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience in the packaging or manufacturing field required. Leadership experience preferred. SKILLS: Must be able to respond to and follow verbal/written instructions. High level of organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed. Basic computer skills. Basic technical and mechanical ability to understand the equipment. Basic mathematical skills. Basic reading and writing skills to complete the required documentation. The approximate hourly pay for this position is $22.77-$27.47.
