Community Relations Specialist
member center market leaders to implement member center specific events and participation in community events, including registration, payment arrangements, material support, coordination and attendance, if necessary. Coordinates long- and short-term marketing and communication plans and programs that drive community engagement.
Coordinates community projects including, but not limited to, the Annual Meeting, BCU Scholarship Program, Project Spotlight, and BCU Foundation. Manages, updates and monitors social media channels. Publishes timely and relevant messages that support financial education, communications, community relations, membership and marketing. Creates and gathers information
and material for posts and website/email articles. Assists with marketing promotions including placements of media purchases and campaigns as needed. Updates savings and loan rates on the Lighthouse and company website on a monthly basis and assists with general website maintenance.
Assists with tasks inherent to employee status changes, such as addition/removal of advertising from various media. Performs other related duties as assigned. Position Qualifications Three to five years of experience in general marketing or community relations Associate's Degree in a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred Excellent organization and editing skills Excellent written and verbal communication
skills Proficiency in such Microsoft programs as Word and Excel Standard position hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.
