As a
Pest Control Technician with Viking Pest, you will provide the vital link between our company and our clients through exceptional customer service.
You will seek to solve existing pest/rodent problems and recommend corrective actions to prevent more problems in the future. Overall, you'll spend your day helping other people in your community by solving their pest challenges, building long-term relationships with those you help, and protecting their homes and businesses. Who You Are. So, what does it take to be a successful technician at Viking Pest? For starters, you'll be at least 21 years of age and be enthusiastic and dedicated with an eye for customer service.
You'll also have. Responsibilities: You can expect the work to be very physically demanding with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others You will be driving power and lifting heavy equipment (Forklift and clamp truck) Loads material onto skids or pallets manually for shipment or use in the production area.
Performs the necessary cleaning, servicing and driver maintenance including checking oil, water and fuel levels refilling as needed. Fills out a master packing list on all orders consisting of more than one shipping tally. Keeps the warehouse and stores area in a clean and orderly condition. Checks all trucks and boxcars before loading as to cleanliness,
leaks, odors, protruding nails, steel bands, etc. Loads or unloads materials manually into or from clean boxcars and trucks in a manner that will prevent damage while in route.
Prepares accurate reports, records and work timecards as maybe required. May use simple hand tools (crowbar, hammer) to do miner work on warehouse pallets and shipping or receiving vehicle. This does not mean forklift. Environmental Conditions: Warehouse environment is not climate controlled.
