The Product Marketing Senior Manager - Refrigeration (Water Filtration, Eco Revenue, Freezers, Compacts, Wine & Beverage) is essential to developing and executing the Commercial Growth Strategy of the Refrigeration business, in alignment with the GE Appliances House of Brands strategy while driving continued leadership in Ice & Water product excellence. This role is responsible
for leading the creative development and omni-channel implementation of all product marketing material. The candidate will work hand in hand with marketing, sales, pricing and product management to directly influence product and go-to-market strategies.
The successful candidate will drive sales growth by creating excitement around the category with key internal/external stakeholders, driving a high level of focus and action on key projects. Position Product Marketing Senior Manager - Refrigeration Location USA, Louisville, KY How You'll Create Possibilities Essential Responsibilities Creative Content Creation: Responsible for the creative process, messaging, and commercial content for
product portfolio Ensure leading edge omni-channel product marketing presence, including e-commerce, social, online & in-store point of purchase, product displays, product catalogs and all other creative assets Develop and execute merchandising programs across all distribution channels, including retail promotional planners, recommended plan-to-sell assortment for stores/showrooms/selection centers, etc.
Lead multiple creative agencies and cross-functional business stakeholders to deliver excellent creative assets on schedule and within budget Develop and Execute Commercial Growth Strategy: Own the commercial execution of the New Product Introduction Checklist Partner with Commercial Director to achieve desired results throughout internal New Production Introduction Launch Process (i CS Review tollgates) Partner with Commercial Director on strategic commercial activities (Time to Think, RENO, PACE, etc.
) Collaborate with multiple Product Directors to ensure that product plans are accurate so that product marketing content is clearly communicated to Sales/Marketing stakeholders with proper lead-time to ensure strong execution Partner with Commercial Training Team to develop a regular rhythm of engaging, impactful training materials that help GEA Refrigeration products win in the market with customers and consumers Market Intelligence & Brand Insight: Develop and maintain tools that document and analyze intelligence on market trends and competitive strategy Partner with Commercial Director and Marketing Team to leverage consumer insights and brand segmentation to develop brand strategies and positioning statements for each of the business' 5 mass/mass premium brands; develop positioning briefs and feature messaging priorities Coordinate Concept Testing process for product line; collaborating with Commercial Director, Product Directors, Brand Managers and Consumer Insights Team to evaluate likely consumer responses to new product ideas Customer and Sales Team Engagement: Drive high level of two-way engagement with Field Sales Team and Customers to maximize effectiveness of product marketing and merchandising efforts Ensure Field Sales Team clearly understands GEA Refrigeration's unique value proposition around key products/platforms petitors and how to drive the message with Customers Lead execution for GEA Refrigeration at industry trade shows, large customer meetings/events and customer product line reviews Manage communications across commercial organization (Training, Sales Team Meetings, Yammer, etc.
