or unloading trucks, unpacking shipping containers, shelving, documenting materials, placing items in proper storage locations, and kiting. Performs other duties as required. This position is integral to the production and inventory processes within Strata-G Solutions.
Unload and receive the raw material from commercial carriers. Interact with quality control to validate material documentation and material certifications. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Issue material to manufacturing orders and perform kitting operations. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies
listed on manufacturing orders. Experience with metal cutting equipment to size material when necessary. (Shear, band saw, etc. ) Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units. Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock. Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Documents product shipment by recording units shipped. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing
pre-use inspections; making operator repairs. (Tracking forklift maintenance schedules, etc.
) Minimum Skills and Competencies Organization, Scheduling, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management, Inventory Control, Lifting, and Forklift experience Data Entry Skills (Costpoint experience a plus) Qualifications Required 3-5 years' experience in warehousing and material handling operations Minimum Education/Experience: High School Diploma Job Posted by Applicant Pro
