Summary: Kootenai Urgent Care in beautiful north Idaho is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistance to join a multi-clinic urgent care system that includes experienced physician and other advanced practice providers along with ancillary support staff.
With three urgent care clinics and a dedicated occupational medicine clinic in a less than 12-mile radius, there is continued need due to ever expanding population growth in the north Idaho area. Opportunity for 12-hour shifts with hours of operation for all clinics of 8a to 8p, 7 days a week. This position includes a competitive compensation and benefits package. NP Responsibilities: Orders, interprets, and records
results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Typically reports to a physician Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned NP Requirements and Minimum Qualifications: MSN degree or higher from an accredited nurse practitioner program required Nationally recognized as a Nurse Practitioner
Clinical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Holds a current NP and RN license to practice in the state of Idaho required BLS Required.
Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation PA Responsibilities: backsses, plans, and provides patient care under the supervision of a physician. Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
