The position will be responsible for driving profitable growth with St. Louis agents and brokers, located in IL & MO. This underwriter will handle package, auto, workers compensation, and umbrella lines with a focus on middle market customers. Underwriting duties will include developing

Process Bond Riders to increase/decrease bonds as applicable. Commence close out of bonds and associated tasks related thereto. Monitor WIPS and compare to Bond Logs. Review, validate, and approve surety invoices for payment. Subcontractor Pre-Qualification functions: Develop, implement, and maintain the Company's Subcontractor Pre-Qualification process. Receive pre-qualification submissions from subcontractors and vendors, analyze for compliance, approve/reject/seek corrections. Maintain a master database of approved subcontractors and vendors.
