No Position Purpose: The Lead Technical backssment Developer will be part of a dynamic and high-energy team involved in developing and launching a new online master’s degree in Computer Engineering. This position will report to the Thayer Director of Online Education with a dotted line to the Thayer Director of Computing Services and will work closely with the MEng Faculty Director, course faculty, teaching

assistants, and other course and program staff to develop technical course backssments and write autograding logic for course backssments. Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp: Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Required Qualifications – Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of computer programming languages, ideally including Python, C, and MATLAB Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems Knowledge of best practices in engineering education Friendly, flexible, service-oriented manner Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and verbal/written communication
