Primary Responsibilities · Interact directly with the customers to safely complete the installation of Duo Gard Products.
· Work with the Installations Manager to review construction documents. Determine the manpower needed for each project. · Work as part of a team to provide problem solving in order to insure the highest level of customer satisfaction. · Work with General Contractors and other trades to install a multitude of products on commercial job sites.
· Ensure each job is completed at a high level and take ownership of the workmanship that is performed to make sure it is done correctly and on time. · Complete daily reports and take project completion photos.
· Leave the job site clean of any debris due to our materials and products. Help verify and calibrate paint process and application equipment for accuracy and repeatability. Participate in the development of robotic path motions and operating parameters for new products and process improvement. Contribute to the development, implementation, verification, and documentation of parameter settings for paint processes and equipment.
Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations. Communicate and collaborate with paint suppliers on optimization, compatibility, and quality issues. Assist in process setup, testing, verification, and troubleshooting at customer facilities. Collect and analyze data, conduct process verification, order materials, and schedule
paint process development. Assist in designing and implementing processes using robots, SAMES bell equipment, reciprocators, and fluid handling systems. Participate in lab experiments, including data collection, preparation, and analysis.
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required (light to moderate). Qualifications/Experience: Basic understanding of paint application processes, materials, and equipment. Basic understanding of robot operation. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to read and understand equipment drawings, schematics, and written manual instructions. Moderate to exceptional computer skills (MS Office). 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering
environment. Ability to multitask and handle multiple assignments.
Strong team collaboration skills. Bachelor's/Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology; equivalent work and experience considered. Other Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of OLP robotic paint simulation is desirable. Experience in the installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment is desirable. Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems is desirable. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Primary work in an office with computer work and sitting. Possible exposure to hazardous materials (paint, solvents, etc.
). May require periods of standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). Occasional travel to outside locations (up to 35%).
