Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation. Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications Qualifications Follow company policies and procedures Thorough knowledge of Syteline and internal processes required Utilize Syteline and various status lists to track, and report on fabricated parts Facilitates rapid progression of Fabricated Parts through individual processes Performs functions in Syteline required to expedite parts and materials through the system Transports hot parts to and from local vendors Delivers materials for hot orders to the shop floor as required
Utilizes web-based tools (ie: ILS, etc) to research alternate solutions to material shortages Works with procurement, receiving, vendors, and stores to expedite materials Works with receiving, procurement, and quality to resolve receiving exceptions and MDR’s Other various duties, as needed or assigned.
