Maintain current awareness of regulations and technical data through regular familiarization of current airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and internal procedures, for work assigned Assure inspection, testing and measuring equipment used on aircraft applications are properly and regularly calibrated and shall submit for processing calibration equipment found out of calibration, as required per
calibration procedure Assure parts received from stock are identified with proper maintenance release tags, or in the case of a shelf-life material, they are not expired Be responsible for all phases of work on items assigned to them, and ensure that all work is processed through the repair station is a safe, efficient manner Other duties as assigned Qualifications To qualify as a Mechanic, Painter 4, candidates must have 7 plus years experienced in assigned area, possess a high school diploma or GED, have extensive knowledge in specialized functions.
Addition to those qualifications, possess a wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific phases
of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
Must read, write and understand English fluently. Candidate must be self-driven and be able to perform duties without supervision.
