Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Electronic Maintenance Tech 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Warner Robins, GA. Electronics Maintenance Tech 1 is responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. You will be working on highly complex systems and equipment that are mission critical for the platforms that they operate on.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Support the repairs and manufacturing of electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to determine cause and remedy for malfunction applying basic knowledge to perform simple or routine task. Test and accept assemblies per approved ATP procedures. Perform visual and mechanical inspections. Prepare Line Replaceable Units for testing. Perform touch ups. Disassemble, repair, and re-assemble LRUs using electronic work instructions or applicable technical documents.
Implement depot service bulletins. Interpret drawings and parts lists. Clean, inspect, and handle precision optics. Maintain and repair shop equipment. Utilize common electronic test equipment, lifts, test fixtures, and hand tools. Perform basic soldering tasks. Document maintenance actions in Ready Blue or applicable data systems. Submit replacement parts requests. Support projects and meetings to improve repair processes. Provide input and support to production schedules and hours. Obtain in a reasonable time frame and then maintain all applicable work-related certifications. Basic Qualifications: Must have High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of Electronics related experience.
Will consider Associates Degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelors Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Must be able to work various shifts as needed Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment Self-starter with ability to work with little to no supervision.
