Skill in the use and care of tools, machines and equipment used in park maintenance. Possession of and ability to maintain a State of Connecticut Driver's License. Responsible for safety and security of company equipment. Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean. Perform tasks such as replace light bulbs as needed or apply oil absorbent to oil spills. Walk location daily to note
and correct any maintenance problems. Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc. Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed.
Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment(such as weed eater), lawnmowers, or other electrical tools to repair or construct items, as applicable. Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager, as applicable. Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor. Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the
local manager in a timely manner. May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists.
