Evaluates the maintenance team and develop a site specific training/skill top grade program to ensure success; he/she will be required to assist the site technical manager to determine where training needs are required, as well as be expected to hold training seminars where applicable and setup site training when needed. deployment and maintenance strategy. Additional Responsibilities: Responsible to be a root cause problem solver (must have problem solving training); when solving processing issues the PE will apply a logical methodology and will use data where possible to make the best decisions. Develops a training program for process technicians and mold changers; leads cycle time improvements, mold change time reductions, and decreased process troubleshooting time.
Have working knowledge of tooling and the requirements of a successful tool/process combination; expected to understand the YFAI tool prove out process. Work with cross functional team members to identify capital improvement opportunities and develop justification; when applicable the PE will need to write an appropriation's request, follow the request through the approval process, and help the plant implement.
