What do our Mechanical Engineers Do? Our Mechanical Engineer will focus on ensuring that our designs are correct with
lots of attention to details before prints are released to our production floor.
You would be responsible for producing all detailed drawings and design documentation necessary to support fabrication and assembly of client's mechanical designs. You would also develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components. We would need you to interact with product development design and deploy new products. You would need to identify and evaluate vendors to support product development, contact suppliers to gather cost efficient pricing solutions and ensure manufacture ability of new products.
There would be the need to support contract manufactures to confirm that client's mechanical and graphic designs are manufactured and fabricated to specifications. We would need you to produce mechanical equipment design from concept-development-final layouts-bills of material, along with carrying out engineering solutions and designs in compliance with engineering principals, company standards, customer requirements and project specifications. You would need to review and interpret mechanical specifications and develop concept sketches, design/layout of stations then review and present the design with others including customers.
We would need you to complete projects by training and guiding technicians. Lastly, you would need to maintains your professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. What makes you qualified for this role? You would need to: Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering 1 year of related experience in mechanical design and development preferred Must have working knowledge and experience using Autodesk Product Design Suite Includes Auto CAD Mechanical & Inventor Must have working knowledge and experience using Auto CAD.
