· Able to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose issues in order to take appropriate action. · Able to thoroughly train others on existing and new programs/ machines · Able to update and modify programs as needed LEAD CNC MACHINIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Setting production machinery for acceptable production processes and obtaining run approval. · Analyze machine, tool, and program issues and makes basic repairs, as well as handling minor routine maintenance. · Perform repetitive and custom work utilizing fixtures, machine stops, indexing devices, to control critical tolerances and dimensions.
· Assure conformance to quality specifications using a variety of gages and indicators. · Effectively communicate with personnel at all levels. · Meet production quantity and quality standards. · Ensure safety guards and personal protective equipment are in place at all times. · Follow and enforce work Instructions, procedures, and company policies.
