What will you do as a Maintenance Director? Use general maintenance equipment including, but not limited to, hand tools, ladders, refrigerant recovery units, landscaping equipment, and required safety equipment. Organize, prioritize, and ensure that service requests and repairs are completed correctly and timely. Inspect grounds, buildings, and

Perform turnkey work as required; ensure that vacant units are ready promptly. Work with the Executive Director to obtain competitive bids for maintenance-related expenses. Understand and adhere to budget guidelines. Purchase supplies/vendor services using standard purchase order systems and proper bidding procedures. Monitor inventory of parts and supplies at appropriate levels. Hire, train, and manage department staff of Maintenance Technicians, and Housekeeping.
Respond to resident and community emergencies. Coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, SDS, OSHA, EPA regulations, and fire codes.
