Load products into blasting machine. Operate blasting machine to achieve desired results and finishes. Inspect finished product for defects. Prepare products for shipping. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: 1 year of previous industrial painting , blasting and/or powder coating experience required. Necessary Skills: Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

as a Spray Painter at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $21.54 and may be higher depending on experience.
2nd shift has a shift premium of 4% of your base pay. Responsibilities & Duties: Quality painting of products and equipment in accordance to Corp. guidelines. Apply EF-GARD face sheet side of forms in accordance with/Corp. policies. Maintain pressures and temperatures on the paint system. Thin paints as needed. Check paint viscosity. Treat water in overhead booths. Cycle 5-gallon paint vats as needed. Run towveyor in a safe efficient manner. Record labor on work order and timecard accurately.
Complete quality audit process in accordance with corp. guidelines.
Operate material handling equipment. Clean and maintain work area daily. Perform routine preventative maintenance of all painting related equipment. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.
