Operate power equipment such as blowers, movers, trimmers and clippers. Operate hand tools
such as pruners, looping shears, shovels, rakes, etc. Work on irrigation utilities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older and hold a valid drivers license.
Must have or be able to obtain an ornamental, turf pesticide license. Associate of Science or Bachelors of Science Degree in Horticulture or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the horticulture field. Strong communication skills. Background in iden tification and culture of woody plant material and floral plants. Knowledge of landscape equipment (forklifts, tractors, bobcats). Knowledge of plant materials and care including turfs, flowers, trees,
and shrubs. Must be comfortable working on ladders and from heights.
