Job Summary: The Receiver, Exciter, and Back-End Processing (REBEP) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon.
The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products. We have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer seeking to solve complex technical problems and providing
highly innovative and ingenious solutions in the area of Radar and Receiver Exciter design, analysis, integration and test. Radar Receiver Exciter engineers are responsible for architecture development, integration, and analysis of the receiver and exciters of complex radar systems.
The technical challenges range from RF chain and link budget analysis to digital signal processing algorithm definition and verification. These engineers are integral in all phases of Radar design and integration from requirements definition to system sell-off and verification. This Principal Hardware Design Engineer role will be based either in Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA and 100% on-site. Responsibilities
to Anticipate: Requirements definition and flow from system to Receiver/Exciter level.
Receiver and Exciter architecture development. Interface definition between Receiver/Exciter subsystem and other subsystems. Support of signal processing algorithm definition based on Receiver/Exciter capabilities and system needs. Resolve complex technical issues seen during design, integration, and test of Radar Receiver and Exciter sub-systems. Process and analyze Radar Receiver/Exciter data, including but not limited to IQ Data, to identify and resolve system performance issues. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Interface with customer with technical and program level status.
Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of prior work experience. 5+ years' of combined experience in the following areas: Experience with Radar Receiver / Exciter system and subsystem analysis, design and/or test. Experience with Radar Receiver / Exciter signal processing techniques and methods. The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance is required.
U. S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RF chain design and analysis. Experience with Radar Receiver / Exciter integration and test. Experience with IQ/signal processing analysis in Matlab, C/C++, Python, or other programming languages. Experience in troubleshooting radar systems, root cause identification, corrective action implementation and associated documentation. Experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques and FPGA implementation. Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and finding technical solutions to complex requirements.

Job Summary: Our cybersecurity team is seeking a Continuous Monitoring backssor (Con Mon backssor or CMA) that will support one of the following facilities: Tewksbury, Andover, Woburn OR Marlborough, MA, with intermittent travel to other sites.
Relocation support offered. The CMA, under the supervision of the Con Mon Lead, is responsible for executing the information systems continuous monitoring program and actively supports self-inspections
to validate the compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. Serving as an independent backssor, the CMA will observe and help improve the cybersecurity hygiene and compliance by reviewing security controls as recommended by our customers and reporting anomalies.
CMA will periodically brief leadership on the status of the Con Mon program and significant/trending discoveries. Although you will not have direct reports, you may mentor others and provide support and advice pertaining to day-to-day occurrences or issues, while further protecting our warfighter. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Reviewing system security plan packages prepared by ISSOs and ISSMs Perform continuous monitoring
of security controls, changes & environments to ensure that they are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing the desired outcome with respect to meeting the cybersecurity requirements for assigned IT systems.
Communicate the security posture of systems through designated reporting mechanisms to include preparing and briefing leadership or government customers. Conducts and supports vulnerability scans, penetration testing & backssments while recognizing vulnerabilities in information systems and networks through various tools such as Nessus/Tenable, SCAP, Splunk, Scripting, etc. Partnering with ISSM/ISSO to increase Information Systems overall compliance.
Conduct self-inspections. Validate implementation of new Cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools Intermittent travel to other Raytheon locations (up to 50%) Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree with eight (8) years of experience as described in the bullet below or an advanced degree with five (5) years of relevant experience described in the bullet below Relevant experience in any combination: Cybersecurity, systems security or system hardening Security Control Accessor (SCA) with the government or military Information Technology Experience with network security and/or systems security, which includes any of the following: architecture, topology, protocols, components, and/or principles Experience with configuring and/or auditing operating systems Compliance-based auditing using the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA backssment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA, Payment Card Industry (PCI), ISO 9001 Quality Management standards, or HIPPA Experience working with and/or supporting computer technologies (such as: databases, operating systems, computer network hardware, protocols, security methodologies, software programs, hardware troubleshooting or electronics) IAM Level I certification (Security+ or other) Active and transferable SECRET U.
