As a Senior Developer / Architect at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our modernization efforts by assisting in architecting cloud-based software solutions while leveraging various technology stacks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet our business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. This role will require collaboration
across several teams including product managers, business analysts, and software developers. Your expertise will help drive the technical direction of our banking solutions, making you a key influencer in our technology roadmap.
What you will do: Provide senior-level systems design, development, consultation and support for core banking applications on. NET or Java, relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms. Serve as a technical expert in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics and requirements of emerging technologies. Application design knowledge and ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business
requirements and logical models into a technical design.
Provide design and development support for new technologies/platforms that are recommended and adopted. Provide technical leadership and mentoring/training to colleagues, users and staff. Work closely with Developers, Business analysts, QA, Product Management Team and ensure that the software that is being developed is aligned with published methodologies and best practices. Develop documentation and work with the Technical Writing team as needed. Interact with leads & other management team members to provide regular status updates. Participate in software estimation, planning and risk identification process.
Comply with company best practices, methodologies and adopt with new technologies. What you will need to have: 8-10 years' experience coding and testing or developing technical solutions Demonstrated experience in delivering a complex business technology solution into production for use by business clients. Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions using Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms. In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, serverless, and containerization. Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Proficient developing APIs and using test tools such as Rest, Postman, Soap UI, etc. Understanding and practical experience with SOAPXML or RESTJSON. Strong knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases Experience delivering high volume, mission critical applications. Work directly with third party vendors to define technical requirements and implement solutions to interface with various external systems. Experience designing large complex systems. Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as Agile/Scrum methodologies. Expertise in security, scalability, and performance considerations in cloud-based applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and leadership. What would be great to have: Prior experience working in Banking Industry/Financial Services Cybersecurity Background Experience with web development stack including Angular (10+), Node JS, etc. would be a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD, Dev Ops practices, and infrastructure as code. Relevant certifications (e. g.
