The importance of this role is to provide support as needed and directed to increase the transactional efficiency throughout the departments. As an associate one will gain a general understanding and knowledge of the various activities within the Warehouse by means of thorough training and experience, for future growth and career advancement.
For the purpose of the signature roster, Warehouse Associate personnel shall be identified as " In Qualification" for the department in which they're currently gaining experience, typically in Teardown. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor but will also be
trained and given direction from warehouse lead and authorized personnel. Duties and Responsibilities Perform all job duties and responsibilities, per ITS requirements and instructions, with a focus on safety for self and others Utilize proper ESD knowledge and handling practices Understand how warehouse location identification for shelving is organized.
Gain an understanding of trace documentation Gain an understanding of how Pentagon is set-up and to perform inventory parts look up, as well as where to find relevant information contained in Pentagon documents. Become trained in proper forklift, pallet jack and power tools for warehousing Perform clean-up of warehouse and facility as
required. Ensure all shipments meet the customer's needs of quality products/documentation Quality packaging: safe transport/strong positive image Proper identification and verification of all parts and documentation Complete and accurate data entry into Receive Master/Pentagon Manage in-house material control by correctly reporting stock locations for items places on shelf Prioritize repair orders and maintain a daily flow of outgoing shipments Confirm material is accurately inventoried Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1+ years warehouse experience Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to multitask Ability to work independently while also being a team player Working Conditions Working conditions include the elements of the outside weather, working around loud machinery and equipment, and exposure to chemicals.
Physical Requirements Required to stand for extended periods of time, lift a minimum of 50lbs, push, pull, bend, and squat.
