JOB SUMMARY: This role will oversee and supervise the daily operations within the warehouse.
The Warehouse Manager will ensure warehouse security, safety, and accurate tracking of everything that arrives or leaves the warehouse. This position partners with department leaders, vendors and others to balance inventory and cost objectives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee receiving, warehouse, and distribution operations; Implement operational policies and procedures; Manage the development of warehouse policies and procedures; Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment; Responsible to hire, train, evaluate and develop warehouse staff; Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities; Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system; Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment; Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of warehouse management experience required; Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures; Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls; Ability to drive a forklift; Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; Strong people skills, team player; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly excel; Excellent understanding of MRP and ERP systems, knowledge of Dynamics 365 a plus; Ability to lead, train, and mentor warehouse employees; Effective time management skills, willing to quickly and easily adapt to new directives.
