Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo Issue appropriate warehouse receipt or collect signed copy of delivery receipt Performs daily equipment preventive maintenance and safety checks.
Operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets, and pallet jacks Maintains a neat and orderly office and warehouse area, including the removal of snow and ice from walkways and truck docks. Maintain work area in clean condition, reporting damaged or broken equipment as
needed. Ensure Safe And Legal Handling Of Dangerous Goods And Related Paperwork. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be currently certified for Dangerous Goods Handling (IATA & 49CFR) High School diploma or GED equivalent Must be 18 years or older Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment Must be able to lift 50+lbs on a regular basis Ability to work efficiently under time constraints Must be available to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays Must have authorization to work in the U.
