Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements: Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights. Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries. Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse. Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments). Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.

We are on the AATA bus route. What does it take to get hired in our Warehouse? We don't have many hoops to jump through for this job. There's just one: you'll need to be able to work at least three shifts per week up to and including the week before Christmas. Here are the details. You can pick your start date.
(Don't worry if this all sounds complicated. When you come in we'll talk through it together. ) Night shift is 10pm-8am. You'll need to be able to work at least three shifts per week. We work 6 or 7 days per week. We welcome people who seek a full time load of shifts and even want overtime. What kinds of skills are required for this job? There's absolutely no experience necessary to work with us. But there are a couple of things you'll need to have to make this job work: The strength and endurance to lift 20 pounds during your shift while bending and being on your feet. English proficiency.
Are there any other requirements? You must be 18 years of age & eligible to work in the United States to join our holiday crew. Will I get full time work? We aim to. Our schedule is based on the number of orders. It will flex as our order volume increases before the holidays. When does this job begin and end? Work starts immediately. It ends on or around December 21st, 2023. Can I apply for full time work after the job ends? Yes, we encourage it. We'll have a limited number of part time positions at Mail Order plus part & full time positions elsewhere in the Zingerman's Community of Business after the job ends.
