Essential Job Functions: Shipping/Receiving (25%) Prepare bills of lading to route materials Pack, seal, label and palletize to prepare items for shipping, using hand/power tools Determine shipping methods, routes, and rates for materials to be shipped Make arrangements with carriers to schedule shipments Record shipment data such as weight and charges for recordkeeping Confer or correspond with internal customers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages,
or nonconformance to specifications Request and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain necessary inventory Examine shipment contents for damage and to compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy Record shipment damages or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes Receive parts into inventory by making entries in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Hose Parts Assembly (25%) Build power take-offs (PTO), valves, pumps, and compressors to fulfill sales orders Build and repair hoses by cutting sections to length, mitering hose ends, and attaching, crimping and/or bending ferrules and bands, using tools such as calipers and
hydraulic draw bar machinery Shop Parts Distribution (25%) Pull and distribute stock-parts to the Service Shop Transport parts, equipment, and packages to temporary holding areas, warehouse bins, or departments Charge out parts to work orders utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Purchase raw materials and other shop supplies Restock returned parts and equipment in proper warehouse storage locations Transportation (25%) Operate straight truck and tractor-trailer units locally and long-distance for pickup, delivery and service/repairs.

Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision Equipment & Software: Equipment: Computer, scanning wand, hand, power, and measuring tools, pallet jack, forklift, hose crimping and banding machines, digital camera Software: Internet browser, email, calendar service (MS Outlook), spreadsheet, intranet project scheduling (Portal 2), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications Safety: Follow policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual.
