WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES (Temporary) : GOBI/YBP Warehouse Associates: Full Time or Part Time Temporary Positions: First Shift: 18.00/hour Warehouse Associates perform a core group of tasks,
listed below. They apply various products to books according to detailed library specifications. They also pick books from warehouse shelves. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with OT available or required on a week: to: week basis.
Position is located onsite at our office in Contoocook, NH. Primary Responsibilities: : Core tasks include processing and picking books. Employees will apply barcodes; theft detection devices; stamps; date dues and similar products. They will pick books from the warehouse shelves. Assigned tasks may include other jobs which are not listed. All employees should expect to work outside the department as business conditions require.
Technicians must: : Meet or exceed quality standards in all areas to ensure customer requirements are met.
Meet or exceed productivity standards in all areas. Be able to use a computer and a scanner to enter barcode data. Use a computer for other essential computer: based programs. Other duties as assigned which includes work outside the department as business conditions require.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to remain and perform tasks at an assigned workstation : Constantly push carts full of books to and from their work area and within the warehouse: Constantly use hands and fingers to operate a computer and apply products as part of the processing of books: Constantly picks books from racks low to the ground to a height of 6 feet: Frequently communicates with leaders and trainers regarding instructions and processing of materials.
