1. Receiving, Storage and Reloading: a. Receives all products, including verifying box count, packing slip counts and inspecting for freight damage. b. Identify product received and pull work order paperwork as appropriate; match product received to purchase orders.
c. Stage and store product in warehouse, noting location on receiving paperwork; provide tags to all stored product for easy identification. d. Handle all products in professional manner, minimizing damage or potential damage by others. e. Pull product and assist loading for all shipments out of warehouse, ensuring that product is protected and vehicles are properly packed. f. Maintain and follow up on all product Returns
to ensure timely resolution and disposition. g. Assist with rental product pulls and ensures accurate rental load outs. h. As-Is product pulls and safely secure product to client vehicles during load outs.
2. Warehouse Organization: a. Maintain warehouse in a clean, neat and highly organized manner, including all stored product, supplies, equipment, parts, vehicles, etc. b. Ensure security and safety of all personnel at all times, including enforcement of establishes security and safety procedures and instructions for warehouse crew, sales team members and customers that may be in the warehouse. c. Ensure that physical condition of warehouse is adequate, including roof, doors, utilities,
sprinklers, fire extinguishers, etc. d. Ensure that hazardous materials are properly stored and secure.
3. Warehouse Programs: a. Management of product service and repair for items damaged in receipt or through warehouse handling. 4. Processes/Procedures: a. Ensure that industry standard receiving procedures and documentation are followed, including proper freight claim procedures. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Support and model Goodmans' core values. 2. Field Operations: a. Interface with the field crews to ensure correct product is pulled and loaded for delivery to site b. Ensure that product returns are fully documented and communicated to the appropriate dealership personnel c.
Ensure that product return/disposition plans are followed including returning product to manufactures, trashing, or adding to Goodmans stock.
