Influencing quality throughout the entire application life cycle, applying test discipline and engineering best practices, towards building quality into the development process to include use of Agile practices and development concepts – Scrum, Kanban to build quality in, continouos flow, work management, acceptance criteria, etc. Will identify defects earlier in the lifecycle through continuous testing by leveraging CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery).
Use of Automation/Automation Frameworks to test multiple layers of the stack including DB, API, UI, including on-premisis and cloud solutions and architectures. Perform Mobile testing leveraging device/OS combos, emulators and physical devices. Providing budget and timeline infrmation as it applies to testing activities and projects. Providing primary input to development and implementation of enterprise quality assurance standards, processes, tools and methodologies to ensure cost efficient, timely and effective services that support the IT business strategy. Debugging software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.
Developing, modifying and executing software test plans, as well as analyzing and writing test standards and procedures and maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consulting with development engneers in resolution of problems and providing feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages/systems/computation software.
