Bothell, WA, seeks Senior IT Test Engineers, responsible for Developing and executing complex test strategies and plans across multiple departments, technologies and platforms.

Ensuring successful project delivery. Communicating regularly with business and IT development teams to define test plans, schedules, deliverables, processes, entrance and exit criteria. Job Responsibilities Managing test execution cycles and phases (System Integration Test, Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, User Acceptance Test and Performance

Testing using JMeter/Blaze Meter as it relates to Load, Stress and Endurance. Translating complex system requirements and specifications into test requirements and test cases.

Developing and executing test cases. Identifying automation candidates and converting manual test scripts into automated test scripts leveraging UI, API and mobile test automation frameworks. Collaborating with Performance Engineers to develop Performance Test Strategy and identify performance test scenarios and scripts. Participating in the development and adoption of enterprise quality standards, processes, tools and methodologies. Identifying test environment requirements, collaborating with infrastructure and

development teams to set-up and test environment readiness. Planning and executing backend data testing, data migration, data quality and data integrity to include database using MS SQL Server.

Influencing quality throughout the entire application life cycle, applying test discipline and engineering best practices, towards building quality into the development process to include use of Agile practices and development concepts – Scrum, Kanban to build quality in, continouos flow, work management, acceptance criteria, etc. Will identify defects earlier in the lifecycle through continuous testing by leveraging CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery).

Use of Automation/Automation Frameworks to test multiple layers of the stack including DB, API, UI, including on-premisis and cloud solutions and architectures. Perform Mobile testing leveraging device/OS combos, emulators and physical devices. Providing budget and timeline infrmation as it applies to testing activities and projects. Providing primary input to development and implementation of enterprise quality assurance standards, processes, tools and methodologies to ensure cost efficient, timely and effective services that support the IT business strategy. Debugging software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.

Developing, modifying and executing software test plans, as well as analyzing and writing test standards and procedures and maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consulting with development engneers in resolution of problems and providing feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages/systems/computation software. Investigating and recommending new tools or developing methods to use existing tools to advance and/or expand testing capability, efficiency and throughput.

Maintaining extensive knowledge of assigned functional area in environment, active business processes, business areas and industry. Minimum Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s (or foreign educ. equiv. ) Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related and five (5) yrs. (post-degree, progressive) experience in the Job Offered or related occupation. Experience must have included at least 3 yrs. of automation testing and 3 yrs.
