This position will be a full-time position. Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities include but not limited to Animal restraint Triage of incoming patients Collection and analysis of lab samples Diagnostic imaging Care of surgical and hospitalized cases Effective communication with clients Surgical preparation and assistance Interpret and record client history accurately Prepare and administer
medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians Accurately fill and record prescriptions Maintain accurate medical records Qualifications include but not limited to: A high work ethic and positive attitude team member Ability to arrive on-time and work when scheduled Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times A self-starting team player with the desire to continue to advance one’s knowledge and skillset Ability to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency 1-year veterinary tech/assistant experience preferred but will train the right candidate BENEFITS AMC
