Technician, you will provide in-home set up and instruction of medical equipment for our patients. You will learn how to clean and operate a variety of medical equipment, including home oxygen, hospital beds, and wheelchairs, how to educate patients and their caregivers on their proper use, and how to troubleshoot when things don't quite go as expected.
Our standard hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5:00PM. Our patients sometimes have equipment needs outside of our regular business hours, and this position will participate in an on-call rotation, with some evening and weekend hours required. Prior delivery experience and home medical experience is preferred for this position, but not required - we're willing to train the right person. This position does require the ability to lift, position and maneuver heavy loads from 50 to 150 lbs. and does require frequent squatting, bending and twisting. Candidates must be able to follow directions, be detail-oriented, and
have basic competencies using a smartphone, i Pad and desktop computer.
Familiarity with the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas is a plus.
