Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Rides along with Warehouse Driver over established route to pick-up donation items or deliver furniture and other bulky items to client's place of residence.
Assist Warehouse Driver in finding pick-up locations. Assist Warehouse Driver with loading and unloading items from company vehicles using a pallet jack, cart, dolly, or hand truck. Protects product quality to minimize damages during delivery and sorts items and group like items together. Help maintain company
vehicles cleanliness. Completes the pick-ups and deliveries of donated goods in accordance with all policies, procedures, and applicable traffic lays. Responsible for safe vehicle operations, driving, and crew safety at all times.
Notifies Program Coordinator or program Manager of any client and donor feedback and/or vehicle problems including accidents and/or motor vehicle citations. Assists in warehouse operations, including but not limited to assisting client appointments, receiving, sorting, organizing and inventorying of donated goods when needed or when not scheduled to do pick-up and delivery of material items. Works with Program Coordinator and Program Manager in training and
overseeing warehouse volunteers to assist with warehouse activities.
Responsible for general housekeeping in and outside the warehouse. Assists in the office as needed or directed by Program Manager Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience working in warehousing, manufacturing, production, or driving large vehicles. Proven customer service experience. Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to lift heavy objects such as furniture and appliances. Excellent communication skills. Strong work ethics. Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e. g. at rush hours). Must have current Valid Driver's license and clean traffic abstract. Familiar with the major roads and neighborhoods on the island of Oahu.
