Job Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead and manage the heavy welding team, promoting a positive and cooperative work environment.

Coordinate team tasks, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. Welding: Carry out advanced and complex welding operations, involving different materials, such as steel and aluminum, using a variety of welding techniques, such as TIG, MIG, and Arc Welding. Ensure the quality of the welds and the correctness of the dimensions. Planning

and Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate welding tasks based on project needs and deadlines. Coordinate with other departments as necessary. Ordering steel and fittings as necessary to support (this means completing a Purchase Requisition and overseeing inventory cycle count as necessary).

Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of welds by the team, ensuring they meet company standards and project specifications. Implement proactive measures to avoid quality issues. Training and Development: Provide mentoring, training, and development opportunities to team members to improve their skills and enhance their performance. Safety: Ensure strict adherence to company and regulatory

safety policies and procedures within the team. Conduct regular safety briefings and trainings.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, project progression, and any issues or discrepancies encountered. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Welder in an industrial setting. At least 1- 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team. Demonstrable experience with various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Arc Welding. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding process specifications. Proven track record of working with heavy materials such as steel and aluminum.
