on ortho and sports to join our Ketchum Outpatient Adult Rehabilitation team. This role will have a primary focus on ortho/sports patients but has the opportunity to support other areas of interest such as spine, pelvic health, and dry needling in addition.
This rural clinical will allow a physical therapist to have a fairly diverse caseload, while having the support of a collaborative team and a larger robust health system team to support all diagnosis. Schedule is weekday only, no weekends with flexibility for 4-10's or 5-8's. Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing comprehensive evaluation including, but not limited to, collecting subjective and objective data, analysis of data,
and creation of treatment plan. Administers interventions consistent with treatment plan based on evidence based best practice, provider protocol and governing standards.
Follows policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements. Document care based on standards of practice, patient acuity and/or clinical priorities. Maintain professional relationships and convey relevant information to other members of the healthcare team within facility and any applicable referral agencies. Maintain patient confidence and protects organization operations by keeping information confidential. Independently manages the care of patients with conditions common to the unit/area
of assignment. Exercises initiative and independent judgment.
Manages caseload and maintains productivity standards for unit consistently. Serve as clinical mentor, as appropriate. Direct the work of aides and assistants, as appropriate. Identifies opportunities for program improvement and seeks appropriate guidance for implementing change. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: Degree from an accredited physical therapy program Licenses/Certifications: Valid license to practice physical therapy in state of practice. Preferred Qualifications: Competitive candidates will have either a) a Ph D, or b) an MS with 2 years of applied science and/or stakeholder engagement experience, in topics related to agricultural sustainability.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in applied environmental science, excellent science communications skills, and a strong desire to use their skills to influence on-the-ground environmental management decisions towards sustainable land use practices. This position would also be a good fit for an experienced science communication/outreach professional who desires to work in a dynamic, flexible environment that encourages creativity and pursuing new ideas.
