You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment and travel as needed. WHAT OUR TECHNICAL SALES CONSULTANTS ENJOY MOST Serve as an experienced, performance-driven regional brand ambassador to drive sales.
Partner with Product teams to develop and advance service attributes. Identify target markets, industries and contacts to develop and implement a sales plan. Self-generate leads through networking, cold calling, premise visits and industry events. Lead consultative meetings, demonstrations and negotiations with stakeholders to close deals. Collaborate with multiple internal teams to develop and execute team selling strategies. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
ENTERPRISE Required Qualifications Experience: Two or more years of experience in premise-based sales of hosted voice solutions; Five or more years of telecommunication B2B experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience. Technical skills: Expert in Managed Network Service Solutions, specifically UCaa S; Proficient in Microsoft Office ; Familiar with Salesforce. Skills: Presentation and English communication skills. Abilities: Ability to conduct a consultative analysis and provide recommendations. Travel : Travel up to 25% of the time. Must have valid driver's license and safe driving record. Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications, such as Cisco, Avaya or Convergence.
Experience selling Managed Network Services and Unified Communication solutions. Familiarity with outcome based selling. Prior Presales/Solution Engineering or Solution Selling experience. Proficiency in different sales methodologies. Technical skills: Understanding of DPL, EVPL, ELAN, LAN and WAN; Familiar with fundamentals related to routers, switches, MAN DS3, OC-x, CSU, DSU and other CPE; Knowledge of DNS, TCP, IP, VPNs and data security methods; Experience with voice networking; Adept with MPLS, VPLS, Vo IP, SONET and DWDM; Expert in routing protocols; Proficient in Microsoft Office. Skills: Presentation and English communication skills. Abilities: Ability to conduct a consultative analysis and provide recommendations. Travel: Travel up to 25% of the time.
