Sales Agronomist in the North Dakota region. Position Summary: The Lead Sr. Sales Agronomist is involved in customer planning, sales, service, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and responsible for providing sound agronomic recommendations to our owner members. They will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork while displaying a professional image for the cooperative. Position

Responsibilities: Manage and maintain a list of customers and prospects. Create and recommend specific agronomy programs to targeted accounts with the goal of increasing agronomy business while identifying all opportunities for growth.

Regularly conduct sales calls on current grower members as well as making cold calls on potential new customers. Spend time with grower evaluating current year variety selection, pest control management, and in-season fertility. Maintain sales contracts/bookings and prepare a comprehensive annual sales plan. Manage sales in order to achieve target margins and product mix. Attends sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities as needed

to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends and regulations in the marketplace.

Position Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in agriculture related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior agronomy sales/operations experience preferred. Agriculture background desired.
