Essential Functions: Generates and develops new business to meet specified sales goals Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs and obtain authorizations with the highest level of integrity Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest

Utilizes company's CRM (Salesforce) and maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems Achieve annual sales targets and average weekly revenue quotas on a consistent basis Prepares and presents sales proposals Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of Phelps industry product information Attends and participates in business events as necessary Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings Skills/Qualifications: Must be a self-starter and proactive and have a c ommitment to excellence and high standards Must demonstrate.

Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound

decisions Ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization Excellent problem resolution and consultative sales skills Must Possess.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Creative, flexible, and innovative team player Must have a proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Must be proficient on Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet Explorer Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English as the primary language(s) used in the workplace Education/Experience Required: 5 years of sales experience Highschool Diploma Education/Experience Preferred: 10 years of sales experience Bachelor's degree Physical Requirements: Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information Understand and respond to a diverse population Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds at times Proof of insurance and a safe MVR record is required Ability to use telephone/cell phone to communicate with customers, inside sales and support, and outside sales personnel Primarily travel based but also an inside average office environment Must occasionally be in production area for pickup of customer orders, average time of 30 minutes or less in other areas than office Average office noise levels with no PPE required
