This position is a remote position; candidates in California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont are eligible. The initial appointment will be for one year but is potentially renewable. procedures Managing data Assisting with human subject protocols Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - Qualifications are deemed required or preferred and represent what is needed to effectively perform job.

Bachelor's degree in linguistics; or in a related field (e. g. communication sciences and disorders, psychology) but with coursework in phonetics, syntax, and language development is required At least one year of previous research experience required Highly proficient or native speaker of American English required At least one year of previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred At least one year of previous experience transcribing or

working with transcripts of children's speech preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills, and abilities commonly associated with the job.

Coursework and/or experience required for understanding of child language development (including phonology/morphology/syntax/semantics and pragmatics) and developmental disorders A strong academic and/or professional record Strong professional references High level of motivation; ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail. Required: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
