Our Licensed Massage Therapist works collaboratively with the Aesthetic Center team to provide massage therapy services for our medical aesthetic center. It is the responsibility of the therapist to establish individualized massage therapy services to best meet patient needs.
Work closely with complementary therapy staff, and advocate for additional therapies services through continuing education. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide -minute massages, consecutively Talk with clients about their symptoms, medical history, and
desired results Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body Manipulate muscles and other soft tissues of the body Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture Suggest future appointments and regime Document clients' conditions and progress in chart, with detailed history Maintain equipment and inventory of products/supply Keep a clean and stocked room Assists patients with any concerns, directing them in the area needed Assists with Aesthetic supply orders and inventory for specific services Assists with management of social media and collaborates in some marketing concepts.
Converts call/inquiries into
appointments Suggest and promote retail products or additional services Maintains OSHA and HIPAA compliance May perform other incidental tasks, as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Current Licensed Massage Therapist from North Carolina, with completed course work At least one year of hands-on experience outside of school, preferred REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent written and oral communication. Exceptional judgment and " people skills. " Empathetic personality with concern for patients' needs Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work as a team member. Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed. Pay special attention to the main entry area, focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures. Launder all linens by washing and drying in the laundry facilities provided. Follow
Company sanitation and safety procedures. Server Responsibilities Greet residents and guests at each table with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads from the cart.
Courteously and clearly review the menu of the meal, take resident orders, and serve meals and desserts. Return cart to the kitchen and assist with storage of perishable items. If needed, deliver trays to resident rooms. Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and reset for the next meal following proper sanitizing procedures for tables and chairs as outlined in the Food Service Guidelines. Vacuum carpets, etc. Complete side work - fill sugar holders, replenish creamers, clean coffeemaker, etc. May
perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. Qualifications Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
