Essential Functions: Interacts with all levels of the Credit Union's staff to understand information requirements withinthe organization; participates in analysis and design activities to provide solutions to thoserequirements. Serve as back-up to IT Director and coordinate IT updates and projects with third-party Network Management Consultant and Symitar/Episys.
Provides specialized reports and data analysis toother internal users. Provides technical guidance to the IT Director in the effective utilization of all applicationdesigns for technical inefficiencies; recommends improvements as necessary. Ensures administrative control over the end-user hardware and software
assets of the Credit Union, as well as related inventories of supplies and peripheral equipment. Trains staff to use office automation systems and core processing solutions as necessary.
Develops and maintains internal standards and controls; ensures back-up of critical data andsecurity. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Basic Requirements: Associate degree in Information Technology or a closely related field or the equivalent years of experience with computer systems administration. Experience with Episys by Symitar is preferred. Proven experience in a network administrator role with hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching. Experience with firewalls, troubleshooting,
and problem resolution. Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies. Must be able to explain technical details to non-technical users.
