Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required in related field such as communications, English, speech, journalism, mass communications, broadcasting or public relations. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 6 years working in communications management functions with a strong understanding of non-profit operations and functioning.
Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive internal and external communications strategies. Strong proofreading skills (for both web and print materials), high attention to detail, and knowledge of AP Style guidelines. Proficient knowledge of social media channels, content creation for these platforms and integration with web environment. Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms a plus.
