If you are interested in the Lamination: Ro uter position you will: Key Areas of Responsibility Use a panel router that weighs ~ 6 lbs. to route the décor paneling on the part Pull off the excess scrap material and throw it away Scrape foam off the perimeter of the part Use a glass router that weighs ~16 lbs. to route out the windows, doors, and compartment openings Throw the trash away in the hopper that can weigh ~25 lbs. This can require bending over to pick up off the floor and carry over head
Clean debris off the part with an air blower to apply seam tape Use a hoist to lift the part on to the trailer for shipping The team will manually pull parts off the cart to sawhorses to be able to route.

Your Accountabilities: Provides leadership, guidance, and direction for the day-to-day Production activities within the shift, as well as related teams to ensure safety, operational efficiency, resource utilization, cost effectiveness and quality goals are achieved. Collaborates and communicates with employees to maintain and achieve hourly targets (KPI) and quality ratings (quality & output goals). Responsible for manning sheet / coordinating where employees are needed, along with some scheduling of work orders to meet production demands. Driver of maintaining 5S standards within the department/area. Collaborates with other departments (ie. maintenance, quality) on troubleshooting equipment issues, scrap issues, etc. to ensure
optimal operational efficiency within the department/area. Completes production reports and hourly production boards to ensure these are current, accurate and reported on time.
Position Requirements: Education: High School Diploma Experience: 3+ years of progressive Production Supervision experience within a heavy manufacturing environment. Prior experience with pneumatic tools, overhead crane, and forklift operation helpful. Functional Skills: High Safety mindset, good at planning, organization, and driving goals, policies, and standards, forward-thinking, prioritization, and project management skills are also important. Foundational understanding of Quality Systems, Lean thinking, and 5S preferred.
Technology Aptitude/Skills : MS Office products; experience with ERP systems would be helpful Language Skills : Solid written and verbal communication. Your Accountabilities: Moves, sets up and adjusts equipment and selects rod to perform work assigned in a safe, efficient, and high-quality way. Prepares surface to be welded; burns, fits, tacks, and welds as necessary to complete repair. Finishes weld by removing slag and grinding when necessary. Reads drawings to ensure all parts are being assembled per drawing arrangements. Uses the proper
weld gages to check all welds that have been performed per drawing arrangements.
Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner to ensure a safe work place. Assists in the training and mentoring of on the job training with new hires in the weld department. Position Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; may consider equivalent course work with proven experience for the right individual. Experience: 1+ years' experience within welding metals within a heavy industry manufacturing environment. Certifications: AWS Certified in FCAW, GMAW or SMAW helpful, or willing to obtain. Certifications are held per AWS D 15.1. Ability to obtain NDT-VT level 2 certification to inspect welds prior to releasing the part from that department.
Functional Skills: Must have a good knowledge of welding techniques, inspection, compliance, and safety; good ability to read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and production orders with an ability to use/read inspection tools and gages. Strong reading and good math skills are required with an excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritize work orders to meet production goals. This role also requires solid problem-solving skills and an ability to operate Forklifts and/or Overhead Cranes as needed for the role.
